Nearly 30 dozen bananas, 100 chikkis, 200 Parle G biscuit packets, 200 water bottles were brought for distribution. Students were conducting the distribution programme in a disciplined manner and learned the importance of giving. They also understood about warakari importance, hardships of them on the way. They also gathered spiritual thoughts. Teachers also enjoyed the distribution and understood Maharashtra’s old ritual about wari. They all took Darshan of Padukas in the palakhi and considered themselves to be very lucky to be a part of this initiative.

VBHS IS NOW ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFIED.

Vidyanand Bhavan High School (VBHS) is now certified under ISO 9001: 2015 as on Sep 2018. International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 is the most updated standard of its kind and focuses on quality management systems and performance. It assists companies in developing a management system that aligns quality with their wider business strategy. There is a focus on risk-based thinking and accountability in all organizational processes that helps improve communications, efficiency, and implementation of continuous improvement.

We are excited to earn certification to ISO 9001:2015 and we feel it provides additional assurance to our Parents that we are focused on continuous improvement in academics. This achievement demonstrates our desire to always perform at the highest levels of quality and efficiency. It is essential to delivering innovative, high quality and child-focused teaching pedagogies.

For any academic institution, the road to certification requires time and commitment. VBHS began their internal preparation for certification in June 2018, by evaluating their existing procedures and aligning them with the new requirements. Since their documentation and procedures were already well established, they only needed to make minor changes to their quality manual and overall processes and procedures to meet the new standards.
